We are a mature, reliable couple. Travelling the world is in our blood (previous jobs). We are flying to sits, using our car or camper van if possible. Mostly we arrive at least a night before any sit to get to know the area and if possible, the pet owners too. Experience: We are looking after our own and others pets for more than 10 years. Dogs, cats, fish, birds and chickens are only some of the animals we cared for.

To introduce ourselves, I am a retired civil servant with 32 years of service, and my wife, Jackie, is a retired nurse with 21 years of service. We are still not yet at the State Retirement age, having taken early retirement because we are now financially secure. We have no children. We are both non-smokers. We are both in good health, but we now prefer the quieter side of life and enjoy activities at a slower, more relaxed pace. Experience: We have completed several pet-sitting assignments and really enjoyed the experience. We appreciated the trust these homeowners have placed in us and wanted to make this process an enjoyable one for them, knowing that we had taken care of their home and the precious animals. Indeed, we are often asked to come back to look after the owner's pets again, which is a satisfying recommendation in itself.

We travel by car, camper van or airplane. Mostly we arrive at least a day before any sit in the area to ensure a punctual arrival. Happy to stay at the pet owners place the night before if wished. Quite often flexible with departure times too. Looking after your home and pets to ensure you are having a great time away gives us great pleasure. Tom is working as an online functional skills Maths and English tutor with his main cohort of learners coming for the NHS and police force and Agnese is a ‘jack of all trades’ with working experience in NHS and private ambulance sector; animal welfare; translation and interpreting field; and currently she is building into a holistic treatment business avenue (massages, aromatherapies, ‘tapping’, and various other emotional wellbeing therapies that can be done via online sessions) • It is a current system that works well for us but we are saving for our own home in Latvia where we aim to start an animal friendly AirBnB and become as self-sufficient as possible; all the time monitoring and trying to reduce our carbon footprint and unnecessary impacts on the environment. What are our interests? • We have a joint passion for long walks and enjoying what the local areas can offer to us. Skateboarding and surfing are some of the more active outlets that we have when the weather and location allows it, but a good game of abalone, chess or simply enjoying a good book is always something that helps us to fill our time. We are a married couple in our 50s, we’ve been together for 36 years.. No kids. Active lifestyle. Good health. Non smokers. We are self-retired after selling our company. We love to travel, have been to around 40 countries, but especially enjoy walking the Caminos in Spain, where we hike approx. 25 km a day and carry all our luggage ourselves. We are responsible and conscientious with private liability insurance and travel insurance that covers us worldwide and ESTA visa to the USA until November 2026. We have driver licens. We are fully vaccinated against Covid. typhus, hepatitis, tetanus, etc. We speak english as good as we can, but it’s not our native language, so bear with us! Experience: We are experienced ex-petowners of 30 years and have both grown up with animals; dogs, cats, birds, poultry, sheep, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and horses and we have always looked after pets for friends, family and neighbours along with our own.. In Denmark we have pet boarding in our private home, on a hobby basis and typically only one or two dogs at a time. So we are used to meeting many different dogs and pet parents.
